“You May Delay , but time will not!”
Benjamin Franklin
We founded Quick SEO reports after years of frustration at the time it took to simply get a cohesive view of what was going on with our websites. It was clear that manual data crunching, even when outsourced to low labor cost countries was not the way to go so we gathered an expert team of business people who own and manage numerous websites, top SEO experts that market sites for hundreds of customers and skilled programmers and came up with what we think is the best reporting tool on the market.
WHY IS REPORTING IMPORTANT?
Ask yourself this? If you got on a plane and happened to look in the cockpit door and saw all the instruments were covered in duct tape, what would you think? Hopefully you would get right off, because without instruments the odds that your flight would become a tragic accident would be uncomfortably high.
So why would you manage a website without having tools that provide clear insight into how well your site is flying?
Let’s suppose you are doing the right thing and you have analytics set up, and you use it regularly. You have no doubt noticed that it takes a little time to move around in it and if you want to share information with the team or higher management then you have to painstakingly print out, cut paste and edit a report. On average, the SEO’s we talked to when building this tool spent 2.5 hours per month just putting together reports for their clients!
For professionals whose time is worth a lot per hour (and isn’t yours too?) that is a big expense and a waste of capability. It is time that they would rather spend on activities such as analysis or working directly with the client to make improvements. However, until you have a report that shows what is working and what is not, you can not know where to focus your efforts, what needs to be tuned up or changed, and what is working fine or even working great.
